Fergie has praised Kanye West for making hip-hop popular and credited her own band Black Eyed Peas with being "gay-friendly".
"Kanye West really did a great thing for hip-hop and made it very mixed and open," the Daily Star quoted her, as telling MTV.com.
And she did not forget her fellow Black Eyed Peas crooners, will.i.am, apl.de.ap and Taboo.
