A new research has held gadget-mad families responsible for the rise in overweight kids in the UK.
According to the Comet survey, the average British household boasts of two games consoles such as the Wii, 3.4 Tellies, 4.2 Mobile Phones, 3.8 Computers, 1.7 DVD Players, and 1.6 MP3s or iPods.
Experts fear the rise in home technology may create obesity concerns among children who spend most of their time in front of a screen instead of playing outdoors.
"The sheer volume of gadgets and appliances in the typical British home is quite staggering," News of the World quoted Bill Moir, Head of Marketing at Comet, as saying.
